In Te Ngahere we have been learning about metaphors and adjectives to make a poem about ourselves. The other thing we have been doing was this activity called Get NZ Writing. It was about our class and ourselves. In our poems we had to describe ourselves in metaphors and adjectives. The hard thing was the describe myself in metaphors and adjectives because I didn’t have any ideas. But what I did well was describing myself. What I could do better next is add  more better metaphors and adjectives. This my first draft hopefully you like it. Here's my poem Rikesh is warm cheesy pizza with cheesy jokes. Rikesh is smart as a answer book Rikesh is firm and speedy as a lamborghini. Rikesh is strong as a stone. Rikesh is memory card full of thrilling things

The last four weeks in Te Ngahere we have been creating our pepeha and  learning to say it confidently. A pepeha is about where we come from and introducing ourselves and our whanau. In our pepeha we have added things like our maunga, hapu, awa and our families. After that we made a visual pepeha to show our learning. I enjoyed doing this because I get to make a powtoon about my family background. Next time I need to add my dads parents. Here is my Powtoon
