First Aid

In Te Maunga we have been learning first aid with Whaea Rima. With Whaea Rima we talked about how to SAVE SOMEONE LIVES! We were so lucky to have Whaea Rima in our class because she taught us all about first aid. We learnt what  to do if someone fainted, had a seizure or even as simple as an asthma attack. At the end we had to make a presentation about what we learnt. What I did well was staying on task for whole time. Here is my presentation

Project Island Song

In Te Maunga some kids got to go to Project Island Song. If you don’t  know what Project Island Song is. It is where you help the environment by planting trees so the birds can live in the trees. We went to Urupukapuka Island. We had to plant and build. The trees were for the bird’s  so  they can live. The traps were for the pest because they kill the birds and eat babies. My favourite activity was planting because it was like you have to look after a child. Once we got back we had to do a  presentation about what we learned. What I learnt was how make traps and plant trees. Here is my presentation
